Talking This mornings odd post by David_UK

Ok so here's another really rather pointless posting from me

When it's been raining and the car is all wet, when you open the boot/tailgate rain runs into the boot from about half way up the actual tailgate itself when you raise it wetting anything through thats in there! anyone else have this?

Basically... everyone with a Hatchback Vectra has this same problem...

One of the ways to reduce the water flowing into the boot, is to raise your rear wiper arm... before opening.

However, water will still probably run into your boot, just not as much...

Open it half way too. The rate of flow is reduced and doesn't overwhelm the gutters.

I don't have this problem as i have a signum.
But I've been thinking if you put strip's down each side of the glass. IE: chrome strip maybe" When you open the hatch all the remaining water will flow to the top of the tail and run onto the roof.

    Just a thought.

Anybody trying it should pay me for the patent
