    Exclamation Diesel 1.9cdti 150 - Which Upgrade

Attached is a Poll for which addiditonal power upgrade I should get next month please vote.

My Signum has an auto with the 1.9CDTI engine; however i was at the lights today next to a 407 estate and dare i say it NO! i will leave it to your imagination as to what happend.

Swiftly moving on i have fitted a panel K & N and de-restricted the air box ready for the upgrade next month; however can any one tell me how much power the auto zaps from the bhp!

VXPC tell me their re-map does not affect the auto box; so with this in mind it would be good to know how much of the re-map will be lost to the auto.

    Cheers,

    Scouse Mushy

197bhp from an 888 remap? Who got that?

Go for the DTUK box, cheapest option and it should give you 200bhp or as near as.

why not a regal remap? they quote 200 to 210, thats what i may go for with one of their cold air feeds installed aswell when i get the car next month, or the vxrpc remap, still undecided, was concerned about warranty as the car will be new but as neither give any warranty thats backed by VX i'll have to take a chance on whichever i decide on, but defo not getting a tuning box as estates have dpf fitted and i dont want problems with it.

If you can afford it mate, the remaps the way to go.

The boxes are better in another way though - they can be quickly removed when you sell the car.

I thought VXRPC remaps kept your warranty. Someone will clarify this if Im wrong.

No warrenty on the 888 remap.

If you buy a new car from Picador in Portsmouth, you can get it with a Regal remap and a Picador/Regal warrenty (if that's worth anything).
