    Talking Diesel Tuning

    Hi,

I have had Caterman box but would like to upgrade to a digital unit... but which is best for the CDTI 16v (150)?

Logic Tuning CRD2 or Spider Bosch 1 or any others?

    Many Thanks,

    Steve

Get a proper remap, much better for the engine, if you want get one compatable with a box and leave the caterman box on!

    Maybe a remap later!

Regarding re-maps and warranty, although VXRPC can't actually state your warranty won't be effected, all claims would be looked at sympathetically, so this should give you enough peice of mind.

But then again, I did 35000 miles on a VXRPC re-map with no issues.

Decided on the DTUK unit, about £100 cheaper than the Spider and seems to be just as good. Output of 205BHP reported on their website!?!

If anyone is intrested in getting one, there is a promo code knocking around!

Now have a caterman box to sell soon...

Steve, I must admit to having a chuckle at this thread. It was like you were "but mum what about .....?" and she kept coming back "never mind son, just you go and get a remap"

Good point, but the question was about what tuning box I should get? ... I wasn't asking about a re-map, because I like the idea of being able to remove the tuning box whenever I want, for whatever reason (personal pref)!

Just people were going off on a tangent....

Sorted now anyway DTUK are sending the CDR2 and will be here tomorrow!

    Thanks,

    Steve
