New Life!!!!!

Well, this is what living in the country is all about - glancing out of the bedroom window half an hour ago - and saw this little lad/lass being born!! Never seen anything like this and was completely blown away - more than anything by the fact that 20 minutes after hitting the floor, the baby was struggling to it's feet!!!

I remember being in Canada and having to babysit this civilian contractor out on the prairie for a week. I was taking my camera each day but nothing ever happened. On the Friday, the last day, I left it back at camp and as sods law would have it, that afternoon I watched a wild mare giving birth to her foal Great to watch but pics would have been good
