Unreal!!
They were determined though...
Right update on this.....
Was a red vectra vxr in Boucher Rd. Thieves cut thru 3...yes 3 premises including agnews honda just to get to this car!!!
They were in our premises for a total of 1 hr 45 minutes! Car was alarmed but at that time of night bouchers empty so alarm wasnt a deterent. Stole full interior excluding steering wheel and 19" vxr alloys. Only damage to car was a slight mark to side skirt. These seats cannot be mistakin for anything else, part leather recaros and too big to fit in a corsa so if u see a smick with his head out the sun roof take note lol. No damage to the car inside, all bolts undone and sensors removed.
It wouldn't take long to remove the seats, the rears can be out in 5mins if you know what you're doing, only one bolt for the centre seatbelt. Fronts 2 bolts for the frame & 2 for the belts. I took my own rears out before having the new ones fitted at the weekend, took my far longer finding somewhere to store them in the garage
Is it worth the effort?
It's not the first time, I remember a VXR on e-bay with no wheels or seats. Makes me nervous with the new interior, I was looking at cheap nasty seat covers on e-bay earlier for when I leave the car in long stay while on me holidays
Man.... I know these VXR seats are rare but jeeze.... breaking into NatWest would be easier than 'the Great VXR Escape'
I bet they were running around the car park shuffling dirt from their trouser leg into the tarmac whilst their mates were digging the tunnel !!
Wonder if they were wearing headsets and nightvision goggles ?
wanna see my new vxr interior. lol
OMG
