    Default Question for all painters??

I've got a set of mud flaps and i want to sand down the ruff texture on the surface before i paint them i was wondering what is the best sand paper to use as i was thinking on wet and dry?? Would that be right!!

Also am i best to use primer first or just paint straight on then laquer??

Rub down with wet & dry using finer a grade as you go on then a couple of coats of primer, rub down again with very fine wet & dry. Then paint with several thin coats, then laquer.

Don't forget to use plastic primer first or the paint will eventually peel off.
