Here is my first attempt at photoshop, i have put a before and after pic, quality of photoshop not good but, please look past that.

theres a free program at www.gimp.org/windows - it has a gradient spray tool, so once you get the parts in the right place, you can select them and spray away - it will only spray selected area and will colour light and dark according to the setting, just figured it out! it took me 2 and a half hours tho!!!
