Stopped By Police In My 3.2 VXR Replica

I got stopped last night by the police in an unmarked 3.2 GSi, i thought here we go, il be here all night trying to explain how its a new shape replica on my old shape car

, he done the obvious checks on his radio and i heard it come back as a 2002 GSi V6,lol, i heard him say to his m8 "hang on our car is a GSi, so what the f*ck is that" so me and my m8 chuckled to ourselves, he got out and said "thats not the proper plates for that car is it?" so i explained to him then i showed him the part of the logbook that the DVLA stamped to show ive transfered my private plates over, which also showed GSi V6 on the logbook, and fairplay to the policeman he was gob smacked with the car, he said to me "Thats a stunning car you have done, get on your way, and good luck explaining to every other copper when you get stopped again" then he laughed.
I thought to myself when i first got stopped id be here all night while he and his m8 ripped my car to bits checking it over lol

, what a nice copper though.

That sounds lucky mate but how do you know that the coppers were not driving a VXR done up into a GSi ??

I guess you knew this would happen as you had the Docs to hand. As long as you adopt this posture with all the local bobbies, I can't see you have too much trouble apart from being made late from time to time.

lol, i know most of the local coppers, and only a few traffic officers, but i didnt know the traffic officers last night lol

yeh had to take me docs out just incase lol

Sooner or later they will get used to seeing the car around.. and word will spread quickly around the station.... especially those interested in cars.

Cant be many Arden Blue Vectra's in your neck of the woods. I live near Birmingham and have only ever seen ONE arden blue VXR...
