    Vehicle : 9-3 Wagon

    Trim : Turbo Edition

    Engine : TID (1.9 16v)

    Year : 2010

    Mileage : 137000

    Default

2 buckets (one for soap and one to rinse out mitt)
1 good wash mitt ( megs do one)
A good shampoo (again megs or zymol, these will not strip any wax like autoplan stuff
If you want to go the full hog then there's Clay and the full megs DC1, 2 and 3. 1 is a paint cleaner, 2 is a polish and 3 is a wax. This hole starter set up should get your car looking spanking, then its up to you on how far you want to go, you could easily sped hundreds on detailing stuff. Ive mentioned these products cos they are easily available from halfords but they are loads of stuff out there.
If your up for a bit of info overload then check this site out. http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/index.php

    Ashley.
...gave my Vectra its first wash and polish of my ownership last week (had it three weeks)

I used AutoGlym Shampoo and Super Resin Polish on the bodywork, Autoglym Vinyl and Rubber Care on the dash and exterior trim and some old Merr wheel cleaner I had laying around. Also used the Autoglym Leather Cleaner on the seats, didn't do too bad a job.

I saw the Megs stuff in Halfords and wondered if it's worth giving it a bash.

Didn't use tyre dressing, might do a bit of that next time

I saw the 3 step stuff in Halfords, might give it a go. Have always used AutoGlym and it's not bad, the polish is a nightmare if you get it on black trim mind...
