    Default 1.8 Vvt...

    Does anyone know if the difference between the early 1.8 and the later VVT 1.8 is just the head or whether the whole engine is different??

    Its Variable Valve Timing, This is what Vx say about it:

    "Combining more power and lower fuel comsumption, the 140PS 1.8i 16v VVT engine employs double continuous variable cam phasing, to provide most of the avaliable torque across a wide rev band"


    So im still not really sure what it does

    The engine has been modified to use VVT technology. Engine produces more power (138bhp vs. 120bhp).

    Honda use this in almost all there cars, this is how the v-tech system operates.
