    confused Radio Safe???

Bought a Signum about a month ago and the radio is really winding me up!!
It just keeps making a really loud beep and flashing 'radio safe'
The sat nav keeps asking for the disk (should it store the info for the sat nav in the memory or do you need to leave the disk in the unit?)
None of the buttons on the steering wheel work?? is this part of the problem??
If someone could help you would make my day as the beeping noise is like figernails down a chalkboard and no music when driving is driving me round the bend!!
    Thanks Guys

Sounds like you might need to put the radio code in, do you have a handbook with the instructions how to put the code in. Also do you have the radio code, it should be in the folder with the handbook on a little card.

If no one beats me to it I will try and copy it from the handbook and send it to you later.

Hi, don't know if this will work but it's worth a try,
    Switch on the ignition
Switch off the radio with the OI control
press and hold the AS control
Switch on the radio keeping the AS control pressed untill you hear a beep
the display should show CODE for about 3 seconds
Then RADIO CODE with the remaining number of attempts ie:----(10)
enter code with the number controls
confirm OK by pressing the multi-function control

That is strange because with these headunits there is not a code, it is only able to work when it is tech2 in. i have a 2013 and it does not need a code and does not have one.On your cx car pass it should show radio type/code 2013/xxxx

If you can't find a AS control button then it's perhaps like PIMM says, it needs to be Tech 2
