    Default Brake Caliper Painting/Caliper Decal's??

Has anyone had any experience of these Brake Caliper Decal's you get off Ebay and such like places??

    Are they any good?
Do they withstand the heat from the brakes??

If the answers are yes, then which logo do i go for......

    Opel

    Or...

    Vauxhall

Also, whats the best paint to use on Caliper's, Proper Caliper paint, or will hammerite do the job??

Cheers for your help in Advance.

I have got hammerite waiting to go on mine just need to get off my ****, lots of peeps on here have said its better than calliper paint. Not sure about the decals think Im going to go for the VX ones, it does say they withstand temp of 300 degrees F so they must be good for the purpose.

I've used the Foliatec kit from Halfords on both my fronts and rears. Comes as a two part paint - paint and hardener that you mix before you paint on. Dries reasonably quickly and sets hard as stone - quality product IMO.

I used hammerite smooth silver, does a good enough job
You need to make sure that the calipers are really clean.

I got blue Vauxhall decals from the uber9 site and are a good job.
A few members on here have also used the same place.

The way to make them last is to put some clear nail varnish laquer on top once stuck to the caliper.

Whats the best thing to use to clean them with, as i dont have access to an air line. Wire Brush, Brake Cleaner and a damp cloth is all i could think of.

I second the gaffers comments. Looks better and lasts longer than hammerite and goes on easier.
I also have the Vauxhall caliper decals that have been on for about a year and are as good now as when they first went on.

Have just ordered my Decal's now. The seller is in Leighton Buzard, yet he has to post them, wont allow me to go and pick them up!
