A lightened flywheel is always worth it dude. If you can get it at a decent price I'd jump on it matey.

Depends what you are after. Lightened flywheel will rev more freely, and the revs will decrease rapidly when you take your foot off the throttle - racecar style. Big disadvantage is you will lose torque, really noticeable going uphill for instance.
Might be worth a try if it ain't costing much to buy and fit - you'll either love it or hate it I guess.

Yeah, as above, I would worry about losing torque on a 1.8, the engine revs pretty good anyway ??

I tend to think this kind of mod is more suited to much lighter cars than the vectra - especially when you are running the 1.8.
Even with a small hatchback you'd normally want to look at ways of reducing the car's overall weight before putting a race flywheel in - to compensate a bit for the reduction in torque.
Nevertheless, could be a lot of fun if you're into driving with plenty of revs most of the time.
