    Default Damn Kids!

Well while reading this Forum some kids have been playing outside riding their bikes on the pavements around my car well last week one of them scratched my door.

Well got some quotes and the best I found was £278 as the paintwork needs to be blended with a few new parts. Well its going in this Wednesday for the repair and will be back with me Thursday night.

Now in the last 20 minutes they have broke my back light with the handle bars on their bike. They have made a nice big hole so my brake light now shows white!

At least I caught them and have spoken to the parents and have said be prepared to recieve the bill. The best bit was they did not put up any fight and have taken full responsibility for the child only a shame when he doesn't live near our street and their is a park closer!

One question does anyone know how much a rear light would be inc fitting by a dealer. It's an SRi 04 plate standard back light passenger side for the car?

    Cheers in advance

This happened to me twice over the last couple of months, luckily they were only scratches and nothing
was broken but it's really annoying when you spend so much time taking care of your car and others around
you just dont give a to55.

Glad the parents took responsibility though, at least thats something.

Don't know how much the light would be, but to give you an idea one for my last astra H was around £35
and on the veccy it's only 3 bolts to change it.

Hi mate, when you get your rear light, the following "How 2's" link on this site about rear bumper removal has a couple of useful pics on removing the rear light. As said above, its only 3 bolts/nuts and the dealer charge for 1 hr labour is £50 + VAT, too much...
