I would get your workor whoever they employed to do the painting to sort it out , takes the **** when people don't think about the property of others, you shouldn't have to shell out for this m8 let them ****ers sort it out.

Aright good to hear you have it sorted then m8, as for something to remove it I've not got a clue and I dont want to say anything in case it goes up **** creek.

Hope you get it sorted though.

As the paint is water based you only need a good car wash liquid and warm water.

Once you wet the paint drops and give it a good rub in with a new sponge it will just wash off.

    Mushy,

Hi Mushy...had the car in the car wash...sponged it but to no avail...these little splodges are stubborn little bu**ers...even tried 'T' Cut...but that takes some heavy rubbing and i too am scard of doing more damage to paint work

The only other option then is to go to Hlafords and get a small bottle of thinners. Not turps or other general house hold paint thinners.

It must be a thinner used for car paint mixing.

Also T Cut will take your laquer off so be careful.

If this fails the company who splashed the car will have to pay for a re-spray!

    Hope this helps.

I would leave it for the moment and see what your bosses say then take it from there.

as most modern car paints are also water thinned (not based - paints on cars are co-polymer resin based) anything that will remove it will almost certainly damage your finish. At best youll be left with dull patches at worst paint will come off. Please be very careful even if your just trying something, might be better left to a bodyshop.
