    Default Headrest dvd screens

    Headrest dvd screens
    Hi guys, need some info about wiring two headrest screens and a dvd under pass seat. fitted the screen into the headrests and got the wires down inside the seats, now need to get a 12v from battery to the pass seat found the how to so i should be ok, but which gauge wire do i need? Also can this be split to run 2 screens & a dvd or do i need three cables ?Also need a Acc +12v (is this a switch 12v , can i use the rear cig lighter) can this be split to run 3 way switch and dvd (hope this makes sense. cheers Dali1020

    hi
    i also have dvd/freeview in my car http://www.showoffyourcar.com/galleries.asp?carid=2734 i used the cigar lighter socket but hard wired from the rear of the console i used the cable supplyed with the units which is smaller than the lighter socket cable.
    ps when wired to the cigar socket it only comes live when car running

    Hi pmw123, did you have to run any power direct from the battery to the dvd & screens? Also how did you earth it all. cheers Dali1020

    Sorry for being a bit slow with this but the two cables to the cig lighter brown & black one is power from ignition (only on when key is turned on) is the other the earth ?
