Little orange light

Little orange light
Just a quicky..coming home from work this morning I noticed a little orange light under my rear view mirror...what actually is this for?
At first I thought it might have something to do with the anti glare mirror.

Glad I'm not the only one to notice this recently - it nicely lights up the radio, heater and the gearlever - natty little design

Thanks for that I couldn't figure it out...
The car seems to have lots of little secrets all waiting to be discovered,
I suppose if I sat down and read the manual I would maybe learn a little more..

That'll be the Indirect Night Lighting. Comes on when it's dark to, as said, to gently light up the central instruments.

It come as standard with the auto-dipping mirror. It really sets off the interior in the dark!

Where the hell is that coming from, tis all dark outside at 2am yet i have a little orange glow in the car ..... almost crashed on the M27 a few months ago when i noticed mine ..... great little light
