Default Can you weld Stainless Steel???

I am looking to get a Stainless Steel Tailpipe Trim for my car, as i cannot afford a Full Exhaust System at the moment.

The one i have found i like is in The States, and it says it needs welding on, but its made out of Stainless Steel(T304 Grade if it helps)

Can you weld Stainless Steel in the same way you weld normal steel, or is it an entirely different process??

It can be welded on, although stainless to mild steel isn't always that good. But yes it can be done with a TIG welder no problem.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

    Cheers Mate.

I suppose the other option would be drill a couple of small hole's in it, and put 2 small screws/Nut's Bolts through it to hold it in position.

Or option 3, wait until i have enough for a Powerflow System....

The ones I just bought are getting weld on Sunday....it`s not the ideal to weld different steals but being just a tip does not worry me that much.
Maybe after they are soldered I might add some welding glue to play on the safe side

Funny enough, it was seeing the pictures of yours that made me look further than England for them, They have a far better variety in America/Canada than we do.

Yeap I found a good selection over US....the difficult part is that most online stores there do not accept foreing credit cards, so the second challenge was to look for an online store with decent tips and that accepted Paypal.
If you need the web adress from where I bought mine I will gladly post it, actually I think they do ship International orders. I placed the order but make them set it to my mother wich is lives there, then some friends of mine that went there for shopping brougt the box to mexico.

If you have the web address that's be good, Cheers.

I emailed one company last night, and they replied that it wasnt a problem to ship to England, total cost of the Exhaust Tip and shipping was $50, £25 which is cheaper than i can find one i like over here.

    Here it goes....webstore
    www.autobarn.com
The company that makes the ones I bought is this...
    www.vibrantperformance.com

On my 3.2 V6 the end pipes are little more than 2" so I went for the ones that were 2 1/4" on the inlet. I payed around $43 USD for each tail + shiping.
