In all honesty mate there steelies as you've already pointed out, i would keep them as spares as you'll not get much for them!
Aye, that's true. Was thinking about selling the trims as theres usually someone after a set. I'll stick them in the yellow paper and see what happens. I'll replace the space-saver with a full wheel while i'm at it!!
Why replace the Space saver wheel?? As it alot less weight to carry about for all the amount of time you'll actually use mate! Think mpg! I know it'll not be much but it all adds up when your modifing your car and adding alot of extra styling parts!
if your going to replace your space saver, you would be better off removing it all together and filling your tyres with slime, you wont need to carry a spare then
Believe it or not, out of the 3 cars ive had, i have only had to change a wheel once! That was due to me driving up a lowered kerb in my Corsa too early and hitting the high bit, took a massive chunk out the tyre wall!!
Touch wood, ive only ever had 1 puncture, and that was on my bike, i took it to the training school i used to teach at and they removed the nail from my back tyre, fixed the puncture and got me back on the move in no time, then as i rolle3d my bike out of their workshop i went over the same f-kin nail they just removed...........
i couldnt believe it
thats when i found the fantastic slime, i never have tyres on my bike without the slime injected, and now i carry a bottle in the Signum, if i feel that the tyre is going down i can always get to the nearest air hose and then fill the tyre and repressure it
