Stick Vx 5/30 Synthetic in it.

As above, comes with 5W30 from the factory, so may as well stick with it (I do ), the fully synthetic as VV said.

Plugs are a doddle to change - probably won't need to be changed but may as well so that everything's fresh from the start. Get the ones from Vx specifically for the 2.0T. May as well stick in a new air filter and maybe pollen filter too.

Turbo needs no servicing other than regular engine oil changes (I wouldn't recommend leaving in for the 20,000 mile period that Vx say you can) and make sure if you've been out driving and working the turbo hard to give it a short time driving around before parking up and switching off i.e. don't give it some beans and then pull up immediately and turn off the engine - guaranteed way to shorten the turbo life.

cheers duncan, i bought this from a member and was it two minds about it but it really is well laid out inside, after having a 2.2 sri vectra last year, the space in this is spot on, so it deffo was a good choice , just looking at colour coding the rear valance and side skirts at the moment,( where did you get yours from ? or are they standard painted?)

Yep, I saw that you'd bought shillbag's Signum. Welcome to First Class travel!

My rear valance is the facelift version - comes pre-primed and has less black plastic as it has an insert for the exhaust cut-out, instead of running the full width of the bumper....

My side-skirts are the VXR estate sideskirts.

I used VX, but got my dad to get it at trade price £16.55 plus vat. I looked at other oil types but it works out way more expensive.
