    Default Tracking/Wheel Balancing

Had my motor about two and a half weeks now, and I've noticed a slight yet distinct wobble of the steering wheel at around 70-80 mph.

I've checked the tyre pressures, and the front seem to even out around 30psi as do the back.

Is there a good tracking place in the Leeds/Bradford area?

...had both front wheels balanced at KwikFit for £10.50. Didn't solve the problem, still get steering wheel judder at 60-70mph

I only had the front wheels balanced.

I was talking to a mate this morning who said he has the same problem, and it was sorted by having the back wheels balanced too, might give it a bash down at QuickFit for the sake of a tenner

Find a local place that sells alloys or has been around a bit if time because fast fit places don't normally do such a good job,you may pay a bit more (sometimes less!) but the jobs done right first time.

...might have a look around then, I did put a posting up asking if anyone knew of anywhere around my area but didn't get any replies so I just took it to Kwik Fit on the off chance.

I'd seen in one of the threads somebody mention getting the balancing done and telling the company to use the "sensitive" setting on their balancing machine - cant seem to find the thread now but HTH
