Boot Help Kinda Urgent Anybody!!

Hi, Had a bit of a problem with boot tonight decided it doesnt want to lock at all!! does anybody know the fuse number for the servos or anything relating to the boot which I can look at or take out to sort of reset it? im stuck got a car sat on drive with a boot unlocked! and I can guarantee that the idiots at vauxhall near me wont have a clue! help?!?!?!?!? please the doors all lock so its nothing to do with that seems like theres no power even the lock wont catch?

help me pleaseeeeee

oh hang can you take the panal off the in side the boot and then check if there is any power to the locking servo might be a broken wire somewere in the boot???

ill take a look in morning been laid on boot floor trying to manually lock it by removing the rubber gromet inside the boot but to no avail!

ill take a look in the light

it'll be a sticky servo catch...

..if you remove the boot inner liner you can extract the lock, ( 3 torx bolts hold it into the frame) then undo the 2 torx screws that hold the servo to the carrier..you'll see a threaded cross slide.. WD40 or spray grease that area and the pivot..reassemble..job done..

for some reason VX run them with minimal lube..a touch of oil and they run a treat..

took it to nearby vauxhalls which are getting currently boughtout so they dont want anything to do with the work! been pushed about to other garages and its apparently a failed boot lock!

cant get hold of one so vauxhall are gonna look at forcing it to lock then getting the part in!

Sorry - I never updated the thread!!

Nothing would work on it so we took it to the local dealer and the whole boot mechanism was broken - complete replacement. Apparantley its not uncommon and is a physical failure ie parts have to be replaced.
