    Default Caterman Special/Caterman box...

Ok, so please bear with me as I'm new to this but I have just got a Vectra '05 1.9 CDTI SRI 150.

This has probably been talked about to death so far on these threads but I have been told I should get a Caterman box for it to up the Bhp, Torque, and fuel efficiency but who actually makes the box?

As I understand it Caterman is the name of a guy/moderator that fitted a tuning box to his car and it is now called the Catrman box - is this true and if so what box did he use? I have also heard that it should cost c£70...again is this right?

    Thank yee...

Yup. It is a basic CR1 type tuning box from Germany.

Cool, so you are the almighty Caterman then...haha! Cheers for the response. Is it easy to fit/use?

Do it mate byall means but first read the posts on here about DPF and possible fuel rail failures before you do!

I have bought and fitted one to my car and I love it but you do it at your own risk! And it is very easy to fit!

As I understand the '05 Vectra doesn't have the 'DPF' that could cause problems with a tuning box fitted...is this right?
