Should work, as long as they are 5x110 wheels .... 225/40 tires

    With a 8" wheel you could use a 235/40.

Vauxhall use 235 40 18" tyres on the VXR wheel which is 8 x 18", and they use 225 45 18" on the 7.5 x 18" wheel as fitted to all other Vectras with 18" wheels.

You can use 225 40 18", but this was never a factory fit tyre for the UK, but the choice is yours.

There was a tire calculator or some such of reference for the subject if I recall.

i was thinking more about offset! -i think i read somewhere that the offset shoud be 35 or 38 or something the ones i want are 45....i know from my calibra turbo that anything from 32-49 fits didnt know if signum was more fussy?

43 is the max recommended but as its only 2mm difference it shouldn't make a difference, the only thing to bear in mind is the higher the offset the further 'in' the wheel sits.
