Default Whats the highest bid you would go to for this Vec.

I'm bidding on this at the moment.

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA:IT&ih=016

What would be a fair sensible price I should set myself as the maximum I should go to. ?

That doesn't seem much, didn't realise how cheap these are going for.

Are the engines in these 2ltr petrol models reliable?

Whats the mpg like on these..

Thats the BTCC model too, it has the horrible front black things on the bumper The engine is very good, chain driven so no cam belts to worry about. MPG? mid to high 20's or maybe 40mpg on a run I would guess, but its all down to how you drive it

In a word - yes. Very few common problems reported by owners so far i.e. ones specific to that engine. The only one I'm aware of seeing occurring fairly commonly is the twittering Multi-V belt/tensioner/alternator pulley, but that year of model would have already had the modified pulley fitted in production.

Do you mean that flexi rubber across the bottom of the front bumper like I already have on my Exclusiv. designed to bend if you scrape over the curb... if so it seemed a good idea to me.
