Red face Our lasses Beetle...I'm in the sh*t

HELP!!!! I bought Mrs JCB some chrome headlight eyebrow jobs for her beetle...they didn't fit as they were completely mis-shaped....so thought I'd try Tiger Seal, which worked fine when I did them yesterday morning, until the sun came round the house, and, well, they slipped and look completely......aweful!

She's not happy, I'm not happy, and I can't get them off!

Any ideas? Thinking of just replacing the glass of the headlight if thats possible....?

    Thanks

And if anyone has any tips on how to remove Tiger Seal from paintwork, the bodyshop that fitted my boykit have dolloped it liberally around the side skirts...

Another idea mate is to freeze it!! ie take the headlight off and stick it in the freezer, not the easiest thing to do but a couple of hours in the freezer then it will pick off as it'll go brittle and you won't have a sticky mess to clean up!
