    Default computer question

I'm looking for a home pc. nothing special. I know nothing about Pc's buy the way. Just good enough to do the normal stuff. Internet, picture's, webcam genral emailing etc.
I found this at PC world. http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/product/seo/173070
Do you think it's ok. Seems quite cheap to me.

been perfectly honest, i would never buy a ready built pc, if you know what your doing your better off buying a bare bones kit and doing it yourself works out cheaper. I built up a decent dual core amd machine for my mum, cost about 300 and it's quicker than my machine (mine is 3 year old tho)It all depends on how much you want to spend and if you can be bothered to build one up

Personnally I would never buy a PB. Did some years ago only to find that I couldn't upgrade some components on it. After service is cr*p. I've gone over to Dell great machines. One here for £369 and I just brought this one now at £449, I paid a tad over £500, can't fault it and great service

its cheap because it has been refurbished, its not a brand new ready built machine, probably been on the shelf or something before, if you want a ready built machine id suggest dell. they are such a big company that there really isnt many companies that can compete with their prices, personally i wouldnt touch the pc world one.

They are a grade 1 company as well, very helpful and the backup is second to none, got 2 branches now, one in Portsmouth and another in Bristol.
