There are a few on the market these days Brian, i used to have the pioneer bt75 which has amazing sound also Kenwood do a few models and argos is selling a sony with bluetooth built in for £113.00 but if youre into sq i would go for the top end units like pioneer and Alpine, or you could go down the parrot hansfree route?
Have you got the standard cd30 in the vec at present?

its the standard cd 30, like the remote etc on the wheel, was looking at the harmon kardon http://www.harmankardon.com/drive-1/default.aspx
but the version 2 is what i'd need and thats more expensive than a good head unit. I looked at a kenwood http://www.justkenwood.co.uk/stock01/dpx501u.asp.
    any thoughts?

yep u could go for that Brian, but i would get a parrot 3200ls bluetooth and not worry about your creative player as you could get a memory stick or mini hard drive and put all your music thats on your creative and more via the usb connection on that headunit

ps if you go for that u will also need the double din facia kit at £39.99
