    Default I'm a traitor :)

After three successive Veccies and a Signum, I'm moving away from VX and getting an Octavia vRS. Did test drive the siggie 2.8T but found the auto gearbox really let it down and the octavia manual just felt less 'squidgie'.

Still it's on a PCP plan, so in three years if the Insignia (or whatever they call it) is any good, I might come back

I still couldn't get over the fact thats is a skoda (sorry..!!), or as europecar & alamo call them when you ask for a quote on a rental car "its a VW skoda"

I just had a look on skoda's (sorry VW skoda's ) website cos i didnt know what a vrs was and well, tbh not my cuppa tea, it seems to have a rather rover'esque look to it (sorry again)

Think i'll just wait for my Veccy SRi nav xp estate to arrive (also being built as we speak)

I bought one, begining to wish I hadn't now, looked at a VRS, absolutely cheap as inside, and the Octy just isn't a looker at all imo, hope you get along with it ok mate, but it's back to the Vx fold for me asap.

I'm afraid I'm a traitor too matey. I've just signed for a Saab 9-3 Aero tonight.

Thankfully the members on here are very forgiving and don't make you park too far away at meets.

Woohoo! 210bhp standard here we come! I had to get a remap to get mine to that - yours with a BSR remap will be 250bhp!! - what mine's about to be with Stage 3!

Yeah, they share quite a few different parts. But the 210bhp isn't acheived by a simple remap of the Saab, it's acheived via forged pistons and other parts.
