In the film, one guy jumped off the bridge........ and decided 1 second after he jumped that he didnt want to die !!!! Not really the time to figure this out whilst airbourne... accelerating to 120 mph with 6 seconds to live !!!

Anyway we know this cos he survived !!

At the last second he straighted himself up and hit the water at 120 mph shattering 2 vertibrae... held his breath... and swam like mad to the surface...

With strong currents and severe bruising he couldnt shout for help, but a seal that was in the water swam up to him and kept him afloat by pushing up on his legs !!

Coastguard picked him up after a short while...... very lucky chap !!

It is very sad indeed that a person gets to a point where they see the only option to get out of whatever they are in (or think they are in) is suicide.

The girlfriend of the son of a chap at work did it, it's not nice for everyone left to deal with the mess that follows it.

Some people also struggle to live, and others seem to throw it away...

Suicide is cowardice but a state of mind exists at the time, only once you reach there can you understand how ppl do it, I've been low at times, got as far as thinking about it and then told myself to *shut up you nob, sort yaself out will ya* and that's as far as it goes with me, I now laugh at things that would cause this, seeing a picture of a guy egging me on to do myself cos he wants me to die, and laughing at him makes him small in my mind until he evaporates away waiting for another chance to see me off, but I'm too strong for him, he's a wimp, I can handle all he can throw at me and more, I'm John McClane hahahahaha.
