2.8V6 Signum.........V.Cheap!

Had no calls earlier so had to kill an hour or 2. Went for a wander around Motorhouse 2000 in Cannock. The new site on the A5 has some nice bargains but one in particular caught my eye.

A nice Black Signum 2.8 V6 Design on a 56 plate with 11K miles, colour sat nav etc. etc, for..........................................

If everything's kosher with that car (history etc), what a crazy price for a year old car like that.
The depreciation from new on those must be huge - great news for 2nd hand buyers of course.

I was there on Sat Tony, they do have some bargains.

I saw a 56 Elite Vec for 12.5K, plus quite a few SRI's for less!

It's maybe cheap but it won't seem such a good buy next year when the cost to Tax it for a year is £400 peeps.

Add in running costs, depreciation, insurance etc. & although it's a shame it just doesn't make sense for most people to take on such a car.

The Elite I saw was a 1.9 150.

To me that is a good price at 12.5, & a more realistic car to go for.

I'm hunting around alot at the mo as I'm after a new car soon & I want to get my head around what is available for what price.

The good news is that for the money & spec a nearly new vec is difficult to fault really so it looks more likely at the mo I'll get another.

The hunt's not over yet though so who knows?

I'm keeping an open mind.

yep a 2.8 would cost a bomb 2 run i just got a sig 1.9d design 150 2006 £11500 from a netq dealer 11000 on the clock n a service thrown in

so buy some blackened lights and fit them to an Elite?!?!?

Put it this way dude; it's cheaper to make an Elite look similar to the SRi, rather than fit all the Elite kit in an SRi.

Drinky has modified his 3.2 Elite's exterior with a hint of GSi.
