Estate DVD player

The lastest Vectra brochure shows an option roof mounted DVD player for the estate vectra. Doesn't appear on the vauxhall accessories website.

Guessing its not going to be cheap but, I'm wondering whether you could use the brackets and mounting holes in the roof to stick a non-vauxhall unit in instead.

Anybody seen one or tried this?

didnt know they did one. been wonderng about something like that for the sig. wonder if it would fit. gonna nip to to stealers for a brochure.

It's only listed for Zafira's on the above site, the Vectra one is the same but with a different wiring loom that attaches to the REC.

Part number for the kit is 93199273. It was available from chassis break 6100000- onwards.

Nice but at £490 think I might be passing on fitting it.

It would be interesting to find one in the aftermarket with similar spec. One that could be de-mounted and used out of the car, with the ports for TV connection.

I couldn't have one fitted as my car has a sunroof, i'm looking at one to fit the rear of the armrest. I do like the head rest mounted ones but the security side of these worries me.

Vauxhall accessories is nothing to do with Vauxhall. They are just a parts supplier Like Graswmere and LMF etc..
Im sure if you asked they coul dget you one.. But it does look expensive..

We knew that over a year ago Pete when the split happened. Vauxhall farmed the accessory side out to the private company you quoted.
My post was to highlight the look and spec of the dvd for the above members to see.

Fair enough.. just reads like it was assumed that because it was in the latest Vauxhall brochure (and the March brochure) that it would be available at VA.. and it wasn't your post i was replying to..
