Seriously, I think it probably is sports rally injection or similar
I'm sure thats right, as opposed to fords RS Rally Sport.
unfortunatly SRI does mean what you have writen, an sri as far as i'm aware has....
stiffer lower sports suspension
recaro style front sports seat's
lower profile tyres
poss bigger brakes ????
sport's styled front and rear bumpers
colour coded bit's all round
small lip spoiler on the boot

SRI used to mean a lot more a good few years ago , but now it really doesn't mean a deal, my sxi has almost all of the same spec as the sri, just another badge and another car now i'm affraidwhy vx havn't kept up the sports mark with the sri god only know's
I remenber when SRi ment you were top of the tree, ( unless you wanted luxury and had a CD )then they brought out the GSi and now the VXR. I think its changed over time, now you can get a SRi with the slowest engine 1.8. I think its a shame that the badge has been devalued as it used to mean more than looks.

So just out of interest then, can anyone remember when did Vx first used the SRi badge? In fact, didnt they use just an SR badge on the MK2 Astra I seem to remember?
