Default Mitsubishi L200

Has anyone had experience of the above? I've had a look at a few recently and I'm really tempted to buy one.

I'd be looking at the Warrior or Animal spec.

We have plans to do some major camping and have sold the trailer tent and we're buying a massive tent so the rear space will be needed. I fancy doing some green lane driving as well. Plus the wife really likes it so that's a bonus .

Views and opinions welcomed as ever.

my bro in law had one a while back m8, very nice spec the warrior, leather etc, went well enough cruised fine at 70+ and not that thirsty either, only down side was his didn't have the truckman top and not much room in the back even though it was a crewcab version, he sold his to a bloke in scotland for 2k more than he paid for it so watch the prices

Cheers peeps. I'd deffo be getting one with a Truck Top for security; plus they're £1200 to buy afterwards.

I've showed the missus some 20" and 22" alloys and her comment was, 'Oh, not again'

This is definately top of the list as my next car. It helps that the wife is just as keen as I am.

My thinking is that Mitsubishi's are generally very reliable, am I right? We were looking at a TD5 Discovery but the reliability really put us off, plus the L200 has a lot more rear space.

The L200 owners club are always at TRAX so get yourself over if you can, as there's some real 'pimped up rides' there.

A friend of ours has a Disco and they do break on a regular basis, go for the Warrior m8, not known for going wrong if looked after.

    Oh...........and yes, 22's are a must
