    Default signum noise

    Hi,
I have been reading through the pages on the problems with the signum noises with intrest as i have a creaking noise coming from the front of my car. But i am unsure if it is covered by warranty as my car is a 2004/53 plate model should the work be covered by vauxhall or will i have to pay for it to be done myself.

    Nearly forgot.

I have only just found this forum and it is great all the info and tips that you have got are brilliant. so keep up the good work lads.

    Cheers
    Ashley.

When is it creaking? When going over speed bumps? If it is its either the anto roll bushes or anti roll bar links. I doubt it would be done under warranty dur to them possibly being wear and tear items, but its worth asking
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

Mainly creaks when pulling off or when driving very slow and over speed bumps.

Yep thats what it will be. Give them a spray with a silicone based oil and see if they get quieter, if they do then have them replaced, not too expensive, £10ish each for the bushes I believe. Just a bit tricky to do. Mine did it and it was worse on wet or cold days and if both wheels went over the bump at the same time, if one went over it before the other - approached on an angle - then it was much quieter
