    Question Consumuption Vs Trip Consumption

    Hi All
    What is the difference on the computer on an SRI veccy between "Consumption" and "Trip Consumption"

    Trip is the average, and the other is instantaneous.

    and the average is a touch high from what other people have said. (as in it says you are doing more than you are)

    Not too much out though. After 27500 miles the BC2 trip says 46.3 and the actual based on litres and miles is 45.8 using MS Excel. TBH I was a bit surprised how close it was - bearing in mind that the speedo over-reads (it surely doesn't take distance of the satnav, does it?)

    It works on the actual speed and mileage. If you set you cruise control then reset the trip computer, the average speed shown on the trip computer will be lower and should be the same as the Sat Nav.
