Default sadly the vectra is no more

as above i have decided to trade my beloved vectra in for a rather nice 3 series beemer, i accepted a very reasonable trade in price for the car so i will pick up the beemer a week on monday due to my cherished number transfer, the car is 03 plate 325ci coupe with very high spec inc heated electric memory sports seats,m tech suspension gearknob, steering wheel sill plates etc . 24,000 miles with full bmw history, colour is schwartz black (i think) and is pretty much un marked throughout. anyhow part of me will be very sad to see the vectra go as it was, and still is a fantastic car thats never let me down, so if the beemer is half as good as the vec i will be happy bunny lol, i will still be logging on here to see whats happening and hope im still welcome and anyhow ive not reached GURU status yet lol, i will post some piccies when i get the car, BTW did i mention the sound of the sublime 192 bhp straight six under the bonnet?

Make sure and purchase some aftermarket indicators as they obviously aren't standard on beemers

    Enjoy the new car m8.

He he nice car although you can keep the fuel consumption and that mad little 'eco' gauge My friends got the exact same car with the 18" multi-spoked alloys and m-tech susp, by eck it doesnt half handle well, but it is ROCK hard, his averages 24mpg but as you say no wonder with that lovely sound. Just get ready to sit at road junctions for a while !!

Ah, the "swingometer" economy guage. Or uneconomy as the case may be.

Wouldn't mind a 3-series now, but they're too common. Get one of those rarer Mondeos.

Im one of the guilty ones, because of the way most BMW's drive on the motorway (right up your backside and never indicate) I NEVER let them out of junctions and always try and block them at islands. When joining the motorway I always go slow in the inside lane when a BM tries to pass I make it really hard. Childish I know - but great fun when they have to drop back. A 180 bhp Astra Diesel will beat a 190 bhp BMW on a sliproad, it must be a power to weight thing.

Not just beemers, but Volvo drivers seem to be without fingers when turning corners.
