Couple of queries - LPG and BSR stage1

Hi - I've recently purchased a 2.0T 2004 Sri Vectra and have a couple of queries if anybody out there can help me out.

First off I'm looking to get it LPG converted and was wondering if anybody else had done this previously and how it went, what system they went for etc?

Second is I want to look at getting the BSR stage 1 conversion - will this work ok with my lpg conversion? I'm presuming the BSR changes the engine management for the petrol ECU so to utilise the power I'd have to be running on petrol but will I have problems if I swap over to the LPG and it's ecu or will they be incompatible and I'll have to remove the stage1 to use it?

Any help would be appreciated.

masmit: sorry to bring this post from the dead, but I am just about to get Vecy 2.0t Estate (2007) and I am interested to install BSR stage1 with LPG conversion.

Any new information on this combination?

I know they advise a higher octane but LPG already has a high octane rating higher than petrol anyway or so im led to believe.

So you should not have a problem

As far as im aware mate the only problem I could see would be the octane rating and LPG has a higher octane rating than petrol.

but as advised above still give the guys a ring to double check but I cant see you having a problem mate

BTW: I found this forum very useful with tons of information. I hope my purchase with Vecy will go well, because reading posts here about 2.0t engine makes me want it even more.

Got information that this (minor) remapping will have no inpact on LPG conversion (before or after).
If some problems after remap will for some reason occurs, this can be sorted with small pressure modification. LPG electronic just get signals from main ECU and adept them for LPG run.

Now just need to wait for the car
