Car has been back to the dealers for the umptineeth time

Well we have another update. the car has been running rough occassionally and it is just before the DPF regenerates. Took the car back in yesterday and got the dealer to roll back to the last ECU update. I've got a few miles to do this week and see if the problem has gone and I can themn identify it to the VX update or if it's the DPF again!!!!

I 've got a DPF and until i joined this forum i didn't know i had one. I haven't even seen the regeneration light do its thing. Never seen a puff of black smoke either.

cross fingers - its never given me any hassle apart for 10,000 mile services...

I've never seen my light come on either come to think of it. If you have the DPF then you should never see a puff of black smoke, thats why they have the DPF.

THink I might query it with the dealer about the dashboard light.

I've never had any light or any indiction of regeneration. I'm sure my facelift 3.0 should have a DPF. I've also never seen any smoke out the back, even with a box on.

The loaner I had ran really rough when cold, little bit uneven when hot, mind you it was asking for a service when I got it.

Funny thing was when I showed it to Mark it was behaving impeccably and they say cars are thick
