Help Required - Vectra C Relay Scotland to the Midlands

I'm looking at buying an item off e-bay (not going into too much detail at this stage lol

), the seller will not post & as it's a 700 mile round trip it's not really a feasable option to collect

.

The said item would easily fit into the boot of a Vec-C.

As far as I can tell the item is located in West Lothian, i wondered if it were possible to arrange a relay or a helpful member in that area to collect the item & I would arrange courier collection from them using one of the £10 courier services on e-bay.

Sorry I don't want to go into too much detail at the minute as it's just what I need to finish off the project on my Vec & it's going at a bargain price at the minute

I was about to say that I'm up in the NE at the moment until Tuesday, so if one leg could get down to me by then I could take it back down with me to meet you en route, but then I realised what you were asking - i.e. a local person to collect and you arrange collection from them.

So the seller won't package it for you to arrange collection by your own courier?

No they won't let me arrange a courier collection (seems a nice enough guy but doesn't want the hassle & doesn't have box big enough), I'd be happy to arrange a relay or courier, the seller wants cash on collection too. The auction ends tomorrow but I'm going away tomorrow until friday so things are stacked against me somewhat.

ive seen something at the same place, dont know if its the same item, seen a boot lip spoiler but again its collection only

Could be the same guy, he said he was a member of the site but had sold his Vec & got a Corsa VXR. Was having a clearoutof surplus bits. I'm not after the spoiler tho

I've just got back off my hols, the item in question was the 2 rear boxes off a 3.0 cdti they sold for about £47 I think, some lucky sod got a bargain.I set up a snipe but didn't bid high as the seller insisted on collection.
