Anyone a tomtom whizz?

Used my tomtom one yesterday to find an out of the way cricket ground (yes we did get a full game in ) and switched it off and took it out of the car in the normal way. Came back after the game and tried to switch it on and nothing happened. Thought it might be out of battery and connected it to the charger, green light came on buit still no joy. Even tried pressing the reset button and nothing.

Got home and connected it to the computer and the ac charger. Still had the green charging light on constant but it made no attempt switch on or connect to the PC.

Anyone got any ideas?

Mine does the same sometimes, i normally hold the on/off button for 10 seconds and then reset it. Switch on as normal and away it goes

EDIT: mine is the 500 but basically the same.
