present from the stealers

got my 30,000 service yesterday from the stealers. washed car today and.............

wasn't there before , can i prove it..............

Take it straight back matey and demand it sorted. Unless a dealer washes your car after servicing it how can thay prove they didn't do it.

This is what happened to me with one of my wheels
went to the stealers went into the car park to get the car and seen this guy in a VW passat dumped it right in front of my car and he just started to walk away
I shouted at him to move it cause I want to get out and he can have my spot
he said in a couple minute I said no I will ram it out of the way and I am in a hurry to get the kids
so I never checked the wheels like I normal do when i go to the stealers because I was still fuming at that t*** in the vw passat

so come to clean the car on the Sunday before a meeting

there it was a big gash on the wheel looks like it happened when it they came to put it on or off the ramp and they court it on the buffer bars
I could not prove they had do it because it was 4 days after I picked it up
so it cost me to get it refurbed

that was the first time I have never check the car before leaving the dealers

how careless is that ! you trust these peeps to look after your car AND you pay them for the privilage !! and they go and damage it ! GRRRR ! get down there and give em what for !!

Got the stealers to refurb one of my wheels as they had scratched it while trying to remove my locking valve caps, the guy they called out did a fantastic job (painted over a slight kerb scuff at the same time) so good I paid him to do the other wheel that I had scratched

ok, phoned the stealers.

"bring it up we will have a look" .

10 mins later i arrive.

"you need to speak to the service manager and he has left for our other branch. here's his name and telephone number."

"when did he leave?"

"oh about 15mins ago"

"couldn't you have told me that when i phoned. does someone want to look at the damage"

"we can't make the decision only he can. there is no point us looking at it"

i go back to the car and phone the number given. "oh he not in at the moment can i take your details"

i await the phone call back.................................

any idea of that blokes number (sounds spot on) i am also in Leicester, need my 2 fronts looking at !

I hate ppl like that with a vengence.

1 - Since when is it ok to block ppl in
2 - If they ask you to move and offer the space, isn't that enough
3 - It just sums them up completely

service manager called..car will be seen tomorow.....will keep updated...

When I worked in the motor trade we always looked round the cars and filled in a damage report before commencing work so we had a record. If possible while the customer was present and they could sign it.
Hope you get it resolved quickly and politely.
