Well as the thread suggest's i have finally had the roof spoiler fitted. It was not without it's issues mind you.

    The story goes.......

Had some idiot reverse into me on 4th March. went to garage to be repaired but they did a shocking job first time so made them do it again.

took car but under closer inspection found this job not much better, Third time lucky. I entrusted them (stupid i know) to fit the lower VXR spoiler which i got from Andy Vec.

Went to collect the car and first impressions where looking good.
But under closer inspection it was not a good job, So big complaint to the insurance company who sent out an independent inspector who also agreed that the job was not up to standard. and he would arrange for the work to be carried out elsewhere.

PVS, just glad nobody noticed the poor quality of the paint work on the front.

Now Thursday last week car went in to Sunny Side Auto's in reading.
WOW what a service, they replaced the whole bumper and lower splitter for new as they couldn't do anything with the old one due the amount of paint on it and the poor workmanship.
They also agreed to fit my roof spoiler as well.

Courtesy car arrnaged and was surprised to be given a VW Jetta 2.0 DTI.

Picked car up yesterday and all i can say is that the job is first class, factory finish, car waxed and polished and everything fitting and aligning perfectly.

So from a nightmare the SUN came out shone brightly from Sunny Side Autos.

Pics of the new spoiler and i'll take some closer pics of the front at the weekend.

Good news about Sunny Side Auto's as well, will have to put that one in my address book.

Look forward to seeing it around soon, Tony.

I've got the xp pack with the rear skirt/apron, and I'm now wondering if the vxr insert for the estate will fit. That then gives the cutouts for twin pipes!

I'm gonna go and see vx this week and see what they say unless anyone else knows already!!!
