Default Estimates of 30-70mph time for a 3.0 CDTi running a CRD2 box?

    Just curious.

Going to try it out tomorrow and time it.

Anyone know offhand what the rough times would be?.

Running a boggo standard 3.0V6 CDTi with my CRD2 on the Harry map.

    Don't know about 30 to 70, but the "official" 30 to 50 in 4th gear :
    hatch / saloon 5.3s
    estate 5.6s

Well I did this with my Spider box.
Not very scientific or accurate using a stopwatch but gives you an idea……
    30-70 thru gears
    3.0 V6 184 with Spider box (222bhp) : 6.5
    3.0 V6 184 standard : 7.5

I have read as a rough guide, the 30-70 is often the same as the 0-60 time in seconds, but not sure how accurate this is.

But as I found out when I went up to see Steve (Spoons), a good driver will keep up with a boxed 3.0 V6 with a remapped 1.9 150

Also, while we were at the VXR track day last week, my mate Paul was driving a VXR8 and noticed that down the straight he could not gain on an Astra VXR that was up in front even though he had his foot to the floor.
