Vectra-c.com 2006 Calendar, anyone ??
THE VECTRA-C.COM CALENDAR 2006 …..
We have decided that if there is enough interest we will produce a calendar for 2006 with members cars in it.
We envisage a page per month with a different car for each, perhaps with a seasonal feel. For this we need 12 pictures which need to be of a high quality so they can be blown up for the calendar. The size of the calendar will be about A4.
Images should be preferably horizontal format with a width of 20cm @ 300dpi. If they're smaller than this, they may be rejected as they won't reproduce very well. They don't need to be larger than this as they will just be sized down. Files should be sent as jpeg's with a low/medium level of compression i.e a higher quality/file size.
If it helps, 20cm wide @ 300dpi equates to around 2350 pixels wide. That probably rules out most, if not all, camera phones. Even if some can manage that width, they're not going to be up to the quality/definition of a stand-alone camera.
To gauge interest we would welcome any comments below and also need to act quickly. So if you're interested in possibly having your car in the calendar, choose one image that you would like to submit for consideration and e-mail it to 'pictures @ vectra-c.com' (remove spaces). Can you please put the word 'calendar' in the subject of the e-mail, as this will help us to filter the entries into a separate folder. Thanks.
Deadline for the pics is midnight on Sunday 30th October.
We will keep you up to date with progress; the cost will be about a fiver each for the calendar.
Pictures we receive will be judged by all the admin and 12 chosen for the calendar.
