Default HP IPAQ 1910 PDA Pocket PC

As per my thread in the "General Chat" section, I have just bought an HTA Vario II PDA so my wee IPAQ 1910 is now surplus to requirements.

It comes with the charger and the USB cable to connect it to a PC.

Its got Pocket Word, Excel etc installed on it and a few other useful apps. you can view movie clips and listen to MP3's on it as well as use it for the usual stuff like dates, appointments etc.

Battery life is good, the screen itself is unmarked. There are no marks on the front of the unit although there are a few marks and scrapes on the rear of it.

I'll get some pics of my actual IPAQ up in a bit, but till then here's a few pics of one:-

    Operating System: Pocket PC 2002
    Dimensions: 4.46" x 2.75" x 0.50"
    Weight: 4.23 ounces
Processor: Intel XScale PXA250, 200 MHz
    Wireless: No
Memory: 16MB Flash/64 MB RAM (46 MB user accessible)
    Expansion Slot: SD expansion slot
Battery Type: 900mAH, Lithium-Ion user swappable battery
Power: Lithium Ion batter, Power adapter
    Audio Out: Speakers
    Audio In: Microphone
Display: Transflective type TFT color with LED backlight, 64K colors
    Viewable Image: 3.5 in
    Resolution: 320 x 240 pixels
    Keyboard: Onscreen
    Handwriting Recognition: Yes

There's a review of an IPAQ 1910 HERE

I have no software CD ( I dont think, will have a look though ) but its pretty much "Plug And Play" on a PC with XP as an operating system anyway.

All you need is Microsoft ActiveSync which can be downloaded from Microsofts website free. I can download it and bung it on a CD if needed.

A couple of things about my IPAQ:-

    1. The memory card slot is playing up. It doesnt allow an SD Memory card to fully click "home" into place and cant read the memory card. I dont know why, but this can be repaired by this mob for around £36:-

Its never bothered me as I just used the internal memory, but if you want to expand the memory capability, its worth keeping in mind.

    2. The stylus it comes with is not the original one, so it doesnt fit in the slot on the unit itself. Again, not a huge problem, you can get them for a couple of quid on eBay.

Looking for £35 inc postage and packing.

    Cheap as chips!!!.

As I said, I'll fire mine up and take a few pics of it to upload ASAP.

    Two questions mate;

    1. Have you still got it for sale

    2. Will it be able to run Tomtom or similar nav software?

    Cameraman is correct.

To run the TomTom software the memory card is required.

As I said, mine doesnt seem to accept the memory card so that would need to be repaired as I mentioned earlier.

I'm not sure if this is still for sale as a fella on another forum said he would take it, subject to me posting pics of mine and if he was happy with the condition as shown in the pics.

So I will get back to you once this guy has contacted me ( should be in a few hours at the most ).
