Default My Tyres have shot it !!! BIG style

Ive been experiencing a lot of noise for a while now and have spent a lot of money trying to quiet it down a bit ...... £500 on 4 wheel bearings being the most expensive by far .... which i must add has done the trick ..OR SO I THOUGHT !!! Just got back from my hols ... the journey was the most annoying time we've had , with the constant drowning and a noise i can only describe as WHEEL BEARING noise Talked to my mate marky about several things it could be, and when i got back went round to payneys and tried his SRI 17's on ...... the noise was gone ... checked the rear tyres and found to my horror that the inside edge hadn't just worn ..... it'd worn unevenly !!!! just like they had 2 or 3 flat spots each tyre , you can see the ripple effect around the tyre plain as day .. .... ALL i can think of is that its something to do with the rear neg camber on the gsi .... put them both on the front and you can tell they're toast through the steering ...... but they're better on the front because there a little quieter due to no neg camber , !! looking for a new set now as the other 2 are close to the limit as well !!!!

has anyone else had this problem ... the tyres are the SEMPERIT PRO 235/35-19

    cheers

Could you take photos of these?
If the inside edge of the tyre has definitive patches of uneven wear, this suggests the rear suspension is at fault, either the dampers and/or shock absorbers have failed

I doubt it's rear camber. More likely toe, or as you say knackered dampers or bushes.

My Astra has nearly 10 degrees rear camber due to the lowering, and it doesn't wear the rear tyres at all.

Or just **** tyres. Semperit? Thought they made inflatable boats?

If you don't have access to a ramp or jacks, you can actually prove faulty rear suspension if someone is prepared to follow you while you drive...

Get them to drive right behind you, ideally on a dual carriageway
Get them to watch one rear wheel at a time by sitting directly offset behind you, although this does mean once they have observed one side you will then need to change lanes so that they have clear view of the other side

What they are looking for is the wheel "bouncing" and losing continuity with the road surface
When you've seen it once, you know exactly what you are looking for!
