Absolutley wrong. Scores of cars on here with the 1.9(150) have had it re-mapped. Regal & 888 among many that offer it.

wrong, all cdti-engines are Ecotec-engines; most others also. Its only a label ECOnomy+TEChnology for modern engines (less fuel, less CO2-emissions, DPF etc)

If the guy says he can not do it for the ecotec engine. Walk away now he dosen't know what he's doing. A lot of good company's can remap this engine. So get it do right if your paying the money.

Yeah, get in your car and drive away form that guy. Heh, can't remap an Ecotec my ***. Tell him to stick his remap and stick to 1.9TDi's.

As yorkie says, Dave will sort you out a remap no bother, he got a 1.9-150 Astra to 210hp no bother.

OBD-Auto-Tune in Ballymena-hay are supposed to be quite good too, they'll either do it at your place, or I think they've got a new rolling road in the Pennybridge Ind. Estate (just behind the NIE building on the Ballymena bypass).

    Default Remap

More power sounds really tempting, but the usual question of reliability especially with an auto box (3.0 DTI auto) and caravan in tow. Still gotta sort warranty problem first - after front spring/s replaced car sits higher, spoils looks n handling ? design have different suspension.

The 3.0 DTi is actually a CDTi Engine. They badged it as a Dti to fit in the range better. Mark The Cabby has his 3.0 Auto remapped/boxed. Goes well So I have read
