    Question Supercharged Irmscher GSI

    Just been looking around the net and found a german site called "vectra-online.de" my german is at best poor and am not to sure what I have found but there was a vec c GSI on there with an irmscher supercharger (kompresser). Looked on Irmscher.com and there is no mention of any tunning parts. Am I looking in the wrong place or is my german that bad?

    I have some facts and figures for this car. Vauxhall displayed it at the PV show a couple of years ago.

    It was bought over here for an evaluation by Vauxhall to see if it could be used as a future production model. Vauxhall even sent a right hand drive car to irmscher for conversion.

    But.......... Due to the UK having right hand drive cars, the supercharger sits where the steering column would be on a right hand drive car, so basically it did'nt fit!!

    This along with the fact that the 3.2 wqas being phased out, led to the 2.8 V6 VXR being developed.
