Dunno if it was intended back then, but some of that could be seen as pedo/incest encouragement, makes you wonder who scripted it, just someone with an alternative sense of humour, of someone with a dark side to them, and all of them were in on it, even the puppeteers, see Zippy look down at George when he says about his small twanger.

reminds me of Captain Pugwash and his crew. their names were some-ones idea of humour. as VV mentions you wonder about it now or are we just most aware of the problem now...........
